Yard near York

Hi
I am looking for somewhere to keep my horse around York. I am at uni in York and the people who loan her at home cant have her anymore so I need to find somewhere to keep her near me.
Does anyone know of anywhere - I dont know where to start!

What are you looking for facility wise? and diy or full?
there are a few of varying quality around here.

how far from york centre are you willing to travel?
if easingwold is right direction or distance then there's the g-g centre (student type prices, but good facilities)
if not, then i've heard Naburn is good, but not sure about Jodhpurs (not sure if its the same one I dealt with in one of my previous jobs - didn't get on with them)

I am open to ideas, would need all services really as I am really busy so time is going to be an issue. Or diy with someone who does services. I dont know how much it costs round here - we pay £90 a month for rent at the moment on a diy yard as a basic with everything on top so something around that I guess.
The ones in Naburn sound good. Do you know how I could get a phone number for these?
Any more ideas greatly appreciated.

ETA: Have you been to Sarah Dale's yard? sounds nice.
 
Hi Mayflower, i have been to look round. amazing have to say. The down side is that its not all year round turnout. The horses only get to go out for a few hours a day even in summer as she does'nt have the turnout. Might suit some but would'dt suit mine. A couple of people from my yard went. They really like it and don't mind the turnout issue. Depends what suits really.

Air78 good. On her jollies at the mo, but my boy is going over to her and sarah at the end of the month so will catch up with her then.

Ah, it does look very flash & I like the idea of a horsewalker (I think she has one?) but I couldn't deal with such little turn out. Might go and have a nosey though.
