It happens with DIY as well, I rented a cottage on the yard, had three large horses, paid extra because of their size, ad lib hay was included in the price, when I left for night shift, horses being stabled early, hay was removed from the stables, it was a livery that told me what was going on, I moved the horses then gave up the cottage, yard rules changed as to what mood the ym was in, horrible yard

We had a really odd family on one of the yards I was on. They used to steal shavings from each other's stables!

See I think they've also been doing this too, as my shavings seem to disappear the day after I've put them in!!!!!! I made a joke and said I think my horse is eating them, can I ask what area your yard was on?

Manchester. Wouldn't surprise me if they had helped themselves to each others hay too. They really were a very odd family. One (adult) child was the main thief, younger sister was almost silent, I suspected something like autism and her brother was a bit too interested in the young girls there. Oh, and they got through horses like most of us do socks. They invariably managed to either buy lemons, or take decent animals and turn them into lemons. Their riding was pretty bad, certainly far worse than you would have expected for people who'd had horses for quite some time.
