on behalf of friend - yard wanted near oxford. must have ten boxes + with grazing to match. school. etc. usual requirements. for lease. ta!!!!

There was a yard offered in the H&H near Faringdon with 9 Boxes, arena, grazing etc at only £500/month. I looked it up for a friend, but unfortunately it's not in the right location. Looked great on Google Earth and the people seemed good at contacting too. Might be worth a try. This is what the owner wrote in an email to me:
"There are 4 paddocks (do not know specific sizes but sufficient to rotate to prevent over grazing) allocated with the 9 block of stables, and if you google the property you will be able to see the layout. As the yard is on an estate I suggest you use the postcode for the main house which is SN7 7LP and then you can pan out to view the whole estate.
Property wise there is Farm House Upper (3 bed property, open plan kitchen/living area) at Ł600/pcm, Farm House Lower (2 bed ground floor property, open plan kitchen/ living with court yard garden) at Ł550pcm, or you can rent both properties together to provide larger more flexible accommodation. Farm House is situated on the yard itself within a few yards of the menage. Recently Rose Cottage Upper has also become available for Ł650pcm (3 Bedroom, separate living room) and is situated on the edge of the Estate within the village of Little Coxwell but a short walk to the yard.
I hope this information is useful and you are welcome to come view the properties."

Have you managed to find anything? I am sort of looking too, in the Newbury/Wantage area.. (but for a bit of a smaller place)

The yard in Faringdon has an old walker and 2 arenas with rubbish surfaces and you have to share it with a riding school that has 60 horses. No hacking either and the landlord is a bit tricky - the tennents words not mine.

Heathfield - just off the A34 near junction 9 of the M40 rents out parts of their yard and might be worth a try.

did hear that about the place near faringdon! have looked at heathfield - nearly always full and school always booked for polo etc. ideally self contained yard that was shared by one other person or just on own would be best
