Yard Romances!!

Really is a bit of a pointless post but i find it so amusing i just couldn't help myself!!

Basically, two of the grooms that work on the same yard as me have have been off and on more than i have had hot dinners!! They will go about all lovey-dovey for a few months then something will happen and they can't stand eachother and they will go around everyone else b******g trying to get people to pick sides then next minute they have kissed and made up and all lovey-dovey again lol!!

This goes on freuqently and the rest of us are past caring and just find it annoying listening to all the he said she said bull just for five minutes later see them hanging of eachother in one of the stable blocks!

It's so common in the horse industry, they just like the drama i'm sure haha!

Anyone got any similar stories or do i just work on a yard that deserves it's own reality show!!

Nope ... Nothing like that ever happens on our yard. All a bit too middle aged and boring, I'm afraid. At least it keeps you amused ...
 
At my old yard the 'groom' was with the YO's son. Constantly moaning at each other or kissing on the sofas while I'm trying to ask her something. Not as dramatic as how your yard sounds though!
 
Haha, it is a very large showjumping yard I work on and if it's not one thing it's certainly another!
It does keep me amused I tend to keep out of it all unless I have been name dropped haha!
Yes it's the teenagers that are definitely worst for it but this couple are mid twenties and should at least no better it's clearly not working so just call it a day and save the rest of us the headache! Lol :)
