I'm pondering how to clear loads of unwanted stuff from my yard and can't really decide what to do. It isn't enough to warrant using an auction house but the organisation seems a bit beyond what I could do. It is varied from hay & bedding to tack and electric fencing!

Has anyone had the horsey version of a garage sale?

Once titdiedh up I will have some stables and a field available if anyone wants them!

get someone onsite to provide cake and cups of tea, and set up either your own auction or table top sale. Advertise it widely in tack shops, local yards etc (local paper is always good too).

whereabouts are you based?

Would be interested in knowing what you have for sale! Where are you located? Always in need of rugs!

Good luck with your sale, do I take it you are coming to France, are you doing horses over here? Not being nosey, but if you are, then I would suggest bringing everything non perishable over with you.I only suggest this, because we had to start from scratch here, and most things are SO much more expensive.PM me if you would like.

JCW - nearly in France referred to our closeness to the channel coast! We can see France most days!
I am simply cutting back
- only want to have 1 or 2 horses so that I might just be able to go away now and again.
Will start a list of everything to go and post again as so many people are interested.
