The plan had been to keep my horse that’s just come home in a turnout pen with a shelter. Since he left one of the ponies has moved into his stable and I’ve been using the ”Shetland shed” as storage.
However he keeps trying to go back into his old house! So I’ve had a re- shuffle. He’s happily back in (not looking forward to mucking him out, that’s one bit I haven’t missed about him )
Ponies only stand in for the day so the littlest is fine in the shed. It does mean finding homes for all the stuff that’s collected in it.
My tack room and feed shed are not on the yard, they are just across at the house so some stuff I will bring back here but some I want over there for easy access.
I used to have a garden storage cupboard but the doors snapped so now it’s just shelf unit and needs to be undercover.
I don’t want to spend a fortune but it must be dry and lockable, not because it will have anything of value but because tiny ponies will ransack anything just in case and i do quite often just let the free roam
