Was going to carry on from my earlier post but its gone to the next page already and was scared yous wouldnt get to see it.

Went to see this yard i was saying about, i knew where it was and thought it would be more polite to see the man face to face.

Well good news and bad news, ive got stables booked. Hes building new ones in the summer, he can offer me field livery from April if fields have dried. Then there will be stables for them in the winter. DIY livery is £15 pw, that includes the stable, haylage and shavings. Met a few of the liveries and they were soo nice, asking me about my lot (of course i showed pics), they were all cooing over them lol.

Nice large stables, all well lit, also the arena is all well lit. Has a separate large shed for haylage and shavings, and you can use what you want aslong as you dont go OTT. There are no kids at the yard, its all people that are older than us and most asked if they could have a ride on Mae as they hadnt rode a cob before.

The man was sooo nice, showed us everything, answered all my questions and i swear i had a tear in my eyes. I really had started thinking that horse people were nasty (sorry).

There is a lady whose been there for nearly 10 years and she was chatting away to us like shes known us for years. She said that everyone helps each other out, there are no clicks. She said if you cant get out one day that they will do our horses aslong as the favour is returned. If the farrier or vet is coming out they put a notice up to let others know incase they need something done.

No horses are allowed to be turned out in the arena for cleaning out, there are 2 small paddocks for this. Leaves the arena free for those riding. Pooh must be lifted after rides in the arena, not to be left for someone else. It really felt like heaven. I was there for over an hour and didnt want to leave.

Oh also the YO said that in the meantime hes going to hunt for a field for me as he no longer offers winter turnout (only down side). He knows alot of farmers and knows a few that are ploughing fields in the summer and they might be able to loan me the field until the YO opens his field!!! My name is now down for the yard, he said cause he knows my situation and my dad im going to the top of the list, there is a huge list to get into the place!!

Yeap, but im glad that im at least moving. Just wish it was sooner
