Yards and/or feed stores Camb./Huntingdon

Checking out possible place to live tomorrow in Swavesey (between Cambridge and Huntingdon) - total relocation so will be exploring local yards.

Please can anyone give me the name of any handy feedstores etc. where I can check adverts for yards? Or even if anyone might know of any recommended yards nearby - I have found College Farm on google which is very close.

Try and find Horsepoo (cambridge area) on fb everyone on there is from the area you need to know about all very lovely and helpful and the lady who runs it is on a lovely yard in swavesey :) if you can't find it pm me and add me on fb and ill invite you to it
 
I've just moved out of the Cambridge area. Shopwise, Highgate Country Store in Willingham stocks everything, tack, feed, bedding, equipment etc and also has a notice board - http://www.highgatecountrystore.co.uk/

There's also Frenches tack shop, on Huntingdon Road on the outskirts of Cambridge, though it tends to be more expensive (but also has a notice board).

For finding yards in the Cambridge area try http://www.cambridge-horse.com/index.html it doesn't list all the yards, and some details are out of date but its a starting point.

Yea we always get feed etc from highgate too - think they are currently closed until Saturday but I went in on Monday & think there were some yard adverts up.

I'm the other way from swavesy though so can't be of much use yard wise. Hope you find somewhere soon!
