Does anyone know of any yards around beaconsfield area easily accessible from the station. Preferably with:
floodlit outdoor arena
good hacking
good t/o
indoor school

Thanks

Hi Tobyandme,

I keep my horses on the west side of Beaconsfield and I can't think of anything with an indoor school near to me (although there are places which can meet your other three criteria). I am also unaware of anything within easy reach of Beaconsfield station (I take it you don't have a car?).

However, if you look towards the north east side of Beaconsfield there are a few larger yards around - and many of them advertise in Chiltern and Thames Rider magazine. I'd also suggest looking at the notice boards in tack shops - the nearest one is Norton and Newby in Windsor End, Beaconsfield, and Penn Feeds (Hammersley Lane, Tylers Green) has a very good, large noticeboard too.

The hacking round Beaconsfield is not too bad at all, and there are a couple of local bridleways groups as well - Hodgemoor Woods Riding Association (google Hodgemoor Woods) and Penn Area Bridleways Association (no Website).

Good luck in finding somewhere, and if you do move your horse(s) to Beaconsfield in the future, then I hope to meet you some day.
