Chipping Sodbury way - Westerleigh Stables (I believe they are full though, although have heard through the grape vine there may be a stable coming up at some point this summer - purely rumour though so don't quote me on it!), Wapley Stables, Sunnymead Farm, Grove Farm, Leyland Court, Mousewell, Lyde's Farm. I can give you info on most of those.

Bitton way - The Meadows, Cann Lane - don't know all that much about either of those.

I'm at the Meadows (in Bitton) we have't got any spaces, and we're not expecting to have any.

What sort of facilities do you want? Theres LOADS in Bitton, just depends what you're after.

Of the ones Fihunt mentioned for the Chipping Sodbury area if you know Winterbourne there's also a yard there called Hicks Common Livery Stables.

The one on Old Gloucester Road is called "Old Gloucester Road Farm" friend's have had their horses there over the years, I don't have contact details but would probably worth just dropping by

Trench Lane - That would be Leyland Court www.leylandcourt.com

There's Hicks Common Livery in Winterbourne (by the Duck Pound)

It maybe worth dropping into Cow Mills in Chipping Sodbury as there are usually signs up in there.

im really looking for grazing, a school would be a bonus and stable, owners on site is a must though. i got told by a friend there is 15 acres but an owner isnt on site. just gernally livery...diy

Hi, I am looking for a yard in Bitton/Upton Cheyney area - can you tell me of all the yards I can try? Not too fussy about facilities - I would just like all year turn out and I'm on a budget so not too pricey!

What is Meadows like? Do the fields get waterlogged? Is it quite pricey? PM me if you'd prefer. ;)

Many thanks

My friends' father owns quite a few acres and has 3 horses on it... he is on site but I am pretty sure it is grazing only, although I'm happy to ask? He does live in chippingsodbury.

Theres quite a few in the area;

* 15 acre (golden valley lane), fairly large DIY, with 20X40 outdoor school, year round turnout but can be limited if conditions are very wet.

* Springwater (brewery hill), well known in the area  used to offer full/part & DIY, think it could just be DIY now, has had a few problems of recent. 20X40 ish outdoor, poor grazing but think its year round and they do organise local shows too.

* Culley Hall Farm (ryedown lane), DIY on a sheep farm. Cheap and cheerful, just a stable and grazing, although you can hire the school up at Lyn Lidburys (sp?)

* Lyn Lidbury also has a yard at the top of Ryedown lane but I don't know if she does livery.

*Field Grove farm, I was there some time ago so not sure if they're still open. Again just a stable and grazing, although they are lovely people in a beautiful setting, and you get to be neighbours with Noel Edmonds :D

Theres another thats split, a small block in the main road and more stables on the same road as the meadows, can't remember what it called but I have a friend there so could ask if you want, again stable and grazing.

*The Meadows...clearly the best place in the area (cus I'm there) 20X40 ish indoor, 20X40 outdoor, year round grazing although maybe limited if bad conditions.

There are numerous small set ups too but you'd be best off driving around the area and popping into places to enquire, I don't really know who has spaces as I'm more than happy where I am :D

Any more questions feel free to ask :)
