Hiy,
Does anyone know of any livery yards or yards for rent in kent (pref. ashford area) that have decent sized schools, preferably indoors...
Hopefully someone on here may know of one not hugely advertised!
thanks..

There are a few.Bluebarn has a couple of indoor schools and an outdoor school, does do livery but I gather has just started doing lessons again.Rooting street farm has an indoor currently being built,I'm told it should be finished by January. It is a riding school as well and then there is Priory home farm at Bilsington(10 mins from Ashford)http://www.bilsingtonprioryestate.co.uk//LIVERYWEBSITE.html
There is also one at Mersham but I don't think they are a livery yard, just a riding school. I am in the Ashford area and just about to move to a private yard where I have a lovely outdoor school but no indoor one unfortunately.

Hi, i know a very nice small private livery yard in harrietsham, kent. about 15mins from Ashford,
No indoor school, but outdoor, cross country course, and private gallops.
let me know if your interested and i'll give u details
regards

Hi there is a nice livery yard at bethersden about 5 mins from ashford.
No indoor school but has 2 outdoor and horsewalker let me know if you would like the details.

Sorry, but I wouldn't keep my horses at Blue Barn. I have been to shows there and the yard looks a bit of a mess, the horses in the fields look poor and the fencing is sh1t.
I have caught two escaped horses in the car park in the past!

Ditto the comments about BB

I like Blue Barn (for competing not livery), I don’t think the indoor schools are bad at all. Bodey doesn't mind jumping on it at all, was there last weekend.

My horse has done some unaff dressage there a couple of times. One time he almost ended up on his head after a huge trip in the warm up area - I think the indoor arenas are very hard although I have seen worse.

See I really don’t think they are too bad, I’ve seen a lot worse (Plum Pudding and Cobham), and my arena at home. I would rather have a bit hard then to deep but then that suits Bodey. Oh and I haven't done dressage there (or not for years anyway) only jumping. I still like it there.

Seen far worse surfaces !! The warm up yes isnt great but where is?! Its better than the indoor at cobham IMO! nearly fell down a boggy spot there once.
The indoor at BB may have been resurfaced i think? not sure. i've done showing and SJ on it and its fine.
