Yards in or near silkstone common Barnsley (also in new lounge)

Hi all
I am moving to the area in 4 weeks would love it if anyone can tell me of any yards good, bad or ugly and contact details and if there are yards I should to avoid ect . Please feel free to PM me . I would like DIY pref but with other options would be nice, with a horsewalker (but I can live without), nice friendly peeps, good hacking ooh and a school please. All year turn out is essential.

I think westfield part do liverys,i dont really know of any but will ask my friend who may know. Try going to throstle nest they will have some ads up.

Westfield didn't do all year turn out when I last ask before moving to present yard and they only allow you to use the outdoor school, not their massive indoor one. Also they will not allow freelance instructors on the yard. Other than that it's a nice place

They do have hacking pretty much straight onto the pennine way so you can hack for miles off road.

Hey we are 15min from westfield park in Emley we do full livery at 65 per week, this includes hard feed, haylage, stable, daily muck out,rugs changing,all year turnout 7.30-5 daily, lots of off road fantastic hacking,live-in propritors,late night checks, we dont have an areana but have a very flat dry field with lights which all liverys happily school in,dont know if it would be of any interest but thought i would post you any waydont hesitate to pm if you want any more details x
