Just been for a drive and it struck me that these areas looked lovely for hacking etc and wondered if anyone knew of any livery yards in these areas. Have looked at moving yards and think mine may well be sold again, it looks so lovely in these parts. Any ideas

My neck of the woods (but not Kingshill).

I'm not aware of any yards in Coleshill, although there are private places. The area around Coleshill is lovely, but there are no bridlepaths.

Winchmore Hill would be better, as from there you can access the Penn House Estate which has premissive rides. There is a yard at the north end of Horsemoor Lane in Winchmore Hill (I think it's called something like Fernhurst/Ferndale Farm), I've driven past it hundreds of times, but tbh I've never been in there and don't know anyone there, so can't tell you anything about it.

For better hacking (still with access to Penn Estate) you'd be better off going a couple of miles further south west to the Penn area. There is a yard in Gravelly Way (Gravelly Way Stables) which is pleasant, with good access to permissive hacking, outdoor school. It's a nice yard, but it's not a competition yard (just in case that's what you're after).

There are two or three yards along Hammersley Lane too. Penn Tack and Feed shop is in Hammersley Lane also and they have a good noticeboard where you might find places advertised.

There are several good yards in Seer Green - Waylands, Oldefields and Austens Farm to name a few.

If you do a search for Hodgemoor Riders, then their Website has a link to lots of yards in the area including those above (sorry, but I can't remember the Web address at the moment).

Finally, if you have more than one horse and would consider very basic grazing only, then I know of a couple of places near to Beaconsfield that you could enquire about - PM me if you want the landowners' contact details or more advice about the area.
