Have had lots of nice outings at various South East venues including Duckhurst, Merrist Wood, Sands Farm, Felbridge and Royal Leisure; but Yateley is incredibly relaxed and I would say the number 1 place to start at!
Anyone I know going for the first time I would send there!

Have achieved 2nd and a 1st with a jump off speed of 29 secs because, my horse adores jumping on grass!! It's a bit of an unheard of venue nobody seems to know it?

Anyone jump there??

Used to back in the late 80s/early 90s. Courses were always good but organisation was random as in never started anything like on time, the loos were non-existant (possibly in the woods.....) but it was a good place to jump all the same. It has probably changed a bit since then.

It is ideal for babies. A lovely friendly venue that feels like a local show, on a natural grass arena. Almost fairy tale natural rolling grass turf surrounded by trees in a basin shape,

I love it, but am jumping blewbury this weekend as its a 1.30pm start and I need a rest!!

Good to hear as I might venture there in a few weeks time, not really jumped much on grass before so need a gentle introduction!

Well done sounds like you had a good day!

I love Yateley, the ground is always good there and it is so relaxed and easygoing. I went last weekend and was 3rd in the BN and 4th in the Discovery, my mare jumped two lovely double clears and the going was perfect - didnt even have studs in!

It is a perfect venue for young or green horses (as well as for older nags like mine!!!).

Used to jump there loads in the 1990's. Always very relaxed atmosphere, never on time, jumps missing paint, not many fillers, challenging warming up on a hill, interesting "rustic" fencing round arena made of old birch trees!! But was a great place for novices and we always enjoyed it.

It hasn't changed!!!! But a nice low key useful venue and perfect for the eventers!
