I haven't reported on any comps yet, as my boy hasn't been his usual self for a few months and we have been having problems with him stopping. But he was a good boy yesterday.
Having got there for the BN only to find there were only about 11 in it! and they had already started. So a quick tack up, had problems with the studs (they wounldn't screw it, just went round and round. Going to have a word with my farrier). Only had time for a quick trot, a couple of warm up fences then in.
Jumped the first 3 fences, came to the 4th, a double and completely missed the stride and with him not warmed up enough, we had a stop, but after that went round the rest clear.
Then i took him in the Dis. He had a bit of a funny 5 mins when the bell rang (so i knew that he's starting to feel his old self again). Then proceded to tank me round the course, pulling for the fences, which a was so pleased about as he had been rather lack luster recently. And we only had 1 down.
So hopefully we'll keep it up for next week.
