Right - not sure what to advertise this for.

1988 Ford Cargo 813. Stalled for two with living
6 months left on current MOT
New brakes 2008, new rubber/floor in horse area late 2007
Just had new alternator fitted.

Is in general decent condition mechanically - has only done 111,000 kilometres but needs some welding on the cab where it is rusty (step is a bit dodgy) and a bit of TLC (eg needs the window securing & a couple of bulbs on the dash replacing). Could do with new tyres on the front and ramp is stiff & needs a bit of welding.
Living is tidy but old. Has fridge, hob, grill etc and luton.

I was thinking put it on for about £3.5k?

yeah that sounds about right. between 2-4k is good. no more as it sounds like it needs a bit of welding which - unless you know a welder - is bloomin expesive

I would try it on at £5k. You will def get more than £3.5k. I've been looking and I am shocked at how much older lorries are priced at. I don't know if they are selling though.

Wow - really? I was sort of thinking that way, but I do actually want to get some calls and sell it as new wagon is on the way.

Maybe I'll try it at 4 or 4.5.

A friend at our yard has got a daf on the f reg, it is nice inside and out she has had it up at £4000 and not even had anyone look at it. The paintwork is brighter than yours nice living and horse area - so I think they may advertise them more expensive but doesnt mean they are selling at that.
