Yep my Kelsall entry is just waiting for my ballot stickers to arrive, they balloted 131 intros last year! I want to do the intro at the first and then the PN at Kelsall2 all being well!
Am trying to earn an event fund so I dont run out of cash 1/2 through the season this year. Working on £100 required per event, I need £2300 this year!

I saw how many they balloted and am going to help possibly at the second event like I did last year. Im planning on doing Kelsall PN then Stafford and Bradwall before moving up to Novice at Somerford, that is if no events are cancelled and horsey stays sound.
I think they're changing the course quite a bit this year at Kelsall as they now have the whole field to use rather than just the outside so it should be good.

Are you planning on doing 23 events, blimey!! I wish I could afford that many but I have my whole season mapped out anyway

I have penciled in 23, based on distance, dates and desirability. I doubt I will do that many, but just sort of planning to do as many as possible depending on how the boy copes with it all. With regards to the cost of it, I am very fortunate to have just earned a decent bonus to come in March and another one in April

, so needless to say that will be stashed as a show fund!

Hi You 2!!
If you want guarannted entry to Kelsall volunteer to help, I did both last year and fence judged at the 2nd one. It was a nice day and we got well looked after.
I'll be fence judging at the 1st one this year

Hi Caroline! (I am thinking of the right Caroline arnt I?!

)
We fenced judged at the second one last year and we were well looked after and it was a good day even though it was quite long! I remeber we were judging fences 3ab but aslo had to radio in for fences 4 and 13ab because of the way the course came back on itself and blimey was that confusing! Especially as riders seemed to time it so we had one at fence 3 and another at 13! And they were the 300 and 400 numbers so I got very tongue tied at occasions! Even more confusing if they both refused! Twas very amusing

I think i'll help at the second one seeing as im not doing that one at the moment and itll be too much of a rush to help the day before of the first one.

Tis me!!
Email them and tell them you will help at the second one. I was fence before the water last time. Was great as didn't have a radio but had a fab view of the course. Henbury Hall is one of my fav ones to.
Will have to look out for you, til Im ready to get back out and about myself

Worth a try.

Never been round Henbury (maybe next year??!!) but I like fence judging there but they give you a jumper for your trouble

Yup am going to email them when i've sent my entry off to say i'll help at the April event.
I like Henbury aswell but I was unable to compete there last year as id broken my arm by then so just walked the course

but its a JRN so definately one for this year! The dressage arenas did look fab unlike Kelsall where unfortunately there is no flat land!
I will let you know what number I am but you'll be unlikely to miss us in our bumble bee colours!
