After years of wanting one and then years of searching, I've finally got myself a little lorry/van conversion.

It's a Renault Mascott, 2.8l tdi 6.5ton. It's on a 2000 chassis, but the conversion is a year old and it only has 59,000 miles on the clock.

I wasn't sure if I was making the right decision, but now after driving it for nearly 3 1/2 hrs home all the way from Cork, in horendous weather conditions, the dark, getting lost and getting here on just a 1/4 of the tank, I know it was the right move

It was cool as I am now driving higher then I have ever driven before

It has some power to it as it powered up the hills no problem

Ok I've had to sacrifice my beautiful jeep for it, but it's worth it I think

The next test is to see if Super will like it

Enough rambling...here it is

Thanks again

It wasn't cheap but I'm really happy with it. I thought it was going to be hard to heat, uncomfortable etc unlike the comforts of a car or jeep - but it turned out to be the opposite - it's very easy to drive, is very comfortable and we had to turn the heat down! I'm going to see if I can get a better radio put in and some solar lighting and then we should be ready

Looks Lovely, I am debating getting one ! I also have a jeep 2yrs old and have just payed out for a service yesterday £350 with jeep company, said could you get the bill down and then they quoted me £300 I have always wondered if I should sell my trailer and jeep get a little lorry and then a smaller car as we are getting hit with high tax, deisel prices all the time !!!!!!!!!!!
