Yay i made the team!!!!!

I am SOOOOOOOOO chuffed just got an email from the team selector for my Riding Club horse trials team - and me and Rocky made the novice team to compete at the horse trials qualifiers at Moreton in Dorset on 17th june and then go on to the championships if the team qualify!!!
I'm sooo happy as my aim for him this year was to get him on the team so that he could get some more eventing experience before affiliating him next year.
Yay yay yay sorry self indulgent but SO happy hehe

Was in exactly the same position last year............. came 4th as an individual, went on to do a few more RC things and now am about to do my first intro at Sansaw.

Lol well im not really sure - should have really established that - i think they are at just below intro height XC and 90cms showjumping lol they haven't really told me i've just told them in my team application what height i've been jumping (which is 85cms XC and 1metre SJ)

Yep will get specific team training sessions but not many - am already a part of the 'broad' team training (basically the training sessions that the 'selectors' watch) all good experience!

Hey, if your doing the novice horse trials then the heights should be 85cm for SJ and XC. Cant remember what intro height is, probably about that?

Thanks - just checked the schedule and the SJ is 85cms and XC 90cms (which is odd, i always thought SJ was bigger than XC, he wont even try in the SJ!!!)

Hi i think the height for SJ and XC is suggested that it should be 85cms but there is an allowance depending on the venue that it can go up to 90cms. Least thats what it says in my rule book!!

I did it once, our team got eliminated but I won it as an individual, but I never went to the final - kind of regret it now.
