After 4 months of concerted looking I am at last picking up my new horse tomorrow, will be posting pics soon :-) as you can imagine I am so excited!
 
I got her from Southgate Farm, cannot rate them highly enough :-). Couldn't be more different from the last dealer I bought off who had a pet vet in his back pocket, a thoroughly sad and costly episode. So looking forward to a fresh start now
 
OMG I just bought my new horse from Southgate Farm! He was Bertie but now is Cooper. The coloured on their website. They were great and I highly recommend too!

Was yours on the website? I dont remember seeing a Chance recently.

Oh good for you, I really Bertie but a tad too small for me, hope he likes name change lol!! Glad ur happy how long have you had Cooper?

And Benson, thank you so much, we both know only too well how much suffering certain people cause, never to be forgotten sadly x
 
Cooper arrived last thursday and has settled in well. Had our first hack today and he was a good boy. My last mare was 16.1 so he is smaller and im trying to adjust to his ponyish trot! But his temperament is really good and I love a well marked coloured.

Did you get yours vetted?

...but I just had a look at there website, is it me or have horses got more expensive? I bought my ponio in March 2007 and she was £3,500 jumped prenovice and newcomers 8 y/o and some of these are alot more and have just been imported as hunters? but congrats its so exciting bringing them home :D:D

Ooh, am liking Bertie/Cooper lots! Pretty boy!

I really like the look of Mary-young, cobby, ready to go! I keep seeing horses and thinking wow-maybe I should get another!

Looking forward to pics of Chance.:)
 
Chance is such a lovely girlie and will hopefully be able to teach my india Pony some field etiquette!! I am so happy for you.... let the fun times roll :D
