OK I'll quickly set the scene,
I feed all and sundry 5 days a week now, used to do 7 but friend said she would do 2 days. I don't have to feed, but i am always first one down and like the yard to be fed at the same time, (feel mean on the others) so everyone leaves feeds and nets outside for me.
Now, William is on box rest and very bored, so split feed into three to break up his day.
12.30 today get a call from a lady on the yard saying that William had not been fed his morning feed and neither had friends horses.
I panic thinking something had happened to friend, (going through rough patch with OH) ring her and she says she forgot to feed, never mind they won't die for just one day.
I'm mortified!! I am there for her horses for vets dentist and backwoman and always turn them out and do them as if they are my own, so a little remorse would have gone a long way!!!
Yes i am over reacting, but i feel bad for Will as he is putting up with a lot at the moment, needs strict routine and is very food orientated.
Feel badly let down so now am going back to 7 days a week feeding so i know he's done (which to be honest is what i think she is angling for)
Rant over, will retreat back to my happy place!
