...and the vet was very complimentary about him - saying what a nice type he was and reckoned I'd got a bargain which is always good!!

He's a 4YO piebald gelding and is a complete sweetheart. He's my first youngster so I picked him for his temperament as he's just so laid back.

I'm going to pick him up on Saturday and am soooo excited I can hardly breathe!!! I haven't stopped grinning since yesterday. Not sure how I'm going to be able to keep myself sane until Saturday!

* edited to correct dreadful spelling - too excited to type properly!*

Wow - how exciting!! You must be so pleased - always such a relief when they get a clean bill of health and pass with flying colours. Best of luck with him!!

Yay!

I'm pleased for you. I had 2 ponies fail vettings before we struck 'thrid time lucky'.

And yesterday my daughter's friend had a pony fail a vetting as the vet said it seemed to have a tumour in it's eye and probably only had 40% vision in that eye. The sellers have had the pony for a few years and so are very upset but luckily it's insured so they are going to have their own vet investigate and it's possible the tumour could be removed and full sight restored - BUT it means daughter's friend has to start pony hunting again!
