morning folks...
just to let you know and brag slightly... Bonnie and I had a very successful show yesterday - it was indeed the first time we've jumped properly since she put me in hospital so i was a bag of nerves!!
anyway - arrived far too early as always - but after sitting through the 2-3 and seeing some extraordinary riding skills (?) i walked the course with my trusty groom Kelly, and then went to get the Bon Monster ready! by the time I'd done that, Buckinghorse had arrived too, so i had 2 grooms! not bad eh?
We warmed up and apart from nutters on out of control ponies, and those ignoring the red ribbon i put in Bonnie's tale, it wasn't too bad, she only had one hissy fit (which kelly caught on camera !) and in the ring she was an angel..
We went Double Clear
in 2-6!!!
I didn't go for a fast round as that wasn't what I was there for, but i thought and felt like i'd won the Derby!!! it was so nice to have a horse that just took on each fence and really listened...
Anyway - she went in the next class and although we had just one fence down, we actually did a better round - if htat makes sence?
Anyway - pictures and video will be put on shortly, but I'm one chuffed Bandit!!
