Just had to say what a great ride I had last night. I rode through the river, had a gallop. I was on top of the world.
Its days like yesterday that make me so enternally grateful I have a wonderful pony.
Life in general could be better, I'm leaving my husband so me and the kids are uprooting. But on a plus side a friend is going to rent their house and stable yard with full facilities very cheaply!
So whilst some things are cr@p other things are on the up!

Just wanted to share my postitive energy!!!

Vxx

Awwww, this time of year is fantastic isn't it? I was wearing sunglasses and a t-shirt for the first time all year at the yard yesterday, and for a chage I wasn't cold

Some of ours went out naked for the first time recently too, the state of them when i went to bring them in was *almost* enough to make me wish for winter and rugging up back!!

I hope things continue to get better for you x x x

Good luck, I too have a grey and unfortunately for her once the winter rug comes off she's straight into her lightweight Canvas. Bloody grey, she will find the natural spring in the field and turn it into a mud hole, she should have been a hippo!

Life with horses is wonderful. Mine were left out for the first time last night with their lightweights on, just waiting for the fog to lift and sun to come out so they can go naked.

You may find your life change is for the better, just concentrate on horses - best cure for all ills.

I also had a lovely time last nigt with my girl. I gave her a good groom, her winter coat is nearly out so she is all mottled at the moment.
I then gave her a light lunge and did some jumping on the lunge, which she loves. I opted for the outdoor school so we enjoyed the last bit of sun.
After that i took her for walk in hand around the country park that my stables backs on to, and she enjoyed some spring grass as we went. This is a real achievement for her because she is what most peole would describe as "unhackable". Im even thinking that if she schools well tonight i might brave a short walk riding her around the park! God the summer sends people insane!!!!

hi everyone im fairly new to the forum - heres my today news! i had a schooling session this morning, she can nearly canter on her bad rein for a full circuit of school!! Bit wobbly still and no stearing as its all i can do to keep her upright! but then groomed her to within an inch of her life, winter coat is nearly, out then she had a bowen session on her bad shoulder and went out naked for the first time today - she positivly skipped over the field.
