Since Monty has been with us, Skye has really come out of her shell.
I took them to a very large park today (Its the grounds of an old abbey)
Monty had the long line on (but I didn't hold it, it was only there "in case" so I let Skye totally free.
Every time I called them back to me Skye was first there. Clever, brilliant, good dog.:)
Monty also came every time, although he was always last of the 3.
I'm a very happy bunny.:)

Brilliant! It's so satisfying when you make a breakthrough like that :D i'm always fascinated at how adding a dog can change the attitudes of existing dogs

Hmm maybe I phrased that wrong then  I didn't mean to belittle the hard work and hours of training to get to this point :)

I understand what you meant-no offence taken at all. Having a new dog has definitely changed the "pack Heirarchy" for sure. Most definitely Skye has altered a lot and for the better.
It may also be that I am focussing more on Monty (the new dog) and therefore not so "fixed" as it were, on Skye.
Anyway, I really don't mind why it has happened, I'm just so thrilled that it has.
