Yeah the snow is melting!!!

In my dads car this morning its +2 degrees and outside everything is dripping off roofs etc, much warmer, maybe we are coming to the end of this.
Anyone else think its going?

Still keep having flurrys of snow here, temp showing 0 outside, looks like we will still have snow on the floor until end of next week judgeing by forecasts.

It was tropical in South Glos +1. I can't remember when it was last + temps but it's snowing again now

Fingers crossed it keeps melting! I need to get to the bank and shops tomorrow and at the moment it looks like I might have to walk 7 miles and back again

slightly warmer in Essex. there was no snow on any cars, fences or trees and the paths seem a bit clearer. At Last! hope this is the end of it.

.... and then will come the flooding! Ground is so hard underneath the snow it won't drain away. I keep reminding myself of those summer days when I go riding at 6am because it's too hot later ..... - dream on-!

Lucky you....where about in Essex as I'm near Colchester and it's bloody snowing again ! We had a bit of a thaw this morning at around 6.45 but the roads & paths are still well covered and very slippery.....I'm fed up with now...

Very good point. The ground is so frozen there will be no infiltration so it will all just run off the hills into the rivers that are already near to bank full!!
Oh I love the english weather!

It seems to be thawing in warwickshire although we keep getting snow showers.
The weather forecast is confusing. says light snow but may be heavy!
Seems to be the same for most of the week, weather forecasters seem to be keeping options open as they say light snow, heavy snow, windy, dry, rain and sleet!

It's still snowing in Norfolk at the moment but it's not settling on cars any more, is melting off our guttering and turning to slush on the pavements. Don't want to get my hopes up but I think the freezing weather might be coming to an end in Norfolk!

I might actually be able to ride my boy for the first time in weeks, can't wait!

The thaw is in full swing here in West Oxon, the roads now have slush on in places instead of compacted ice, although the lanes are still hard, white and slippy, it is a start!
