Can anyone please recommend any places to keep a yearling, preferably in the North West but would consider moving my filly to anywhere as it is awful where she is at the moment.

If it's not too far then Embla Stud near Stafford so easy to get to off the M6. My two yearling boys are going there this weekend - I hope, to be gelded amongst other things.

I have youngsters at Millfield Stud near Settle, its a fantastic place, not sure if they have any spaces but well worth trying.

Might be too far for you but Bracken Spa stud in Lincolnshire (http://www.brackenspastud.co.uk/PBN...kenspa-stud-farm-T0/brackenspa-stud-farm.html). Provided a fabulous service to me as a mare owner for provision of chilled semen and the facilities are very good indeed (I've visited on a number of occasions); and has also received good recommendations on this forum for all types of stud related livery. Sally is very experienced and helpful.
Again might be too far for you but also the Etchingham Stud in Slingsby near Malton. Not as much land so as Brackenspa but extremely experienced and caring - my two youngsters are there at the moment. Tel 01653 628347.
