Because my horse was imported at four but i couldnt prove it, BD gave her some ridiculous amount of points meaning that i could only enter Elementary and above, at the minute we are currently competing at Novice level, so went for assessment and they have given me 35 points, does anybody know whether this means that I can compete in Prelim and Novice, or is it just Novice and above????

Are you currently earning points? If you have 35 it means you can go in prelim until you get 2 more points! However the boundaries are set to increase in Dec...

37 is the Prelim points limit I think? Check the BD rules online?
The point limits are all increasing as from 1st december anyway, Prelim up to 50, Novice limit up to 124, so you can compete Prelim & novice.

You have to do Open section, rather than restricted, if you're downgrading the horse. Having it assessed is a different thing altogether.

The upper limit for competing in Prelim is currently 37 points, so you have two left at the moment. From 1 December it will be 49 points.

Yes, the restriction on the rider only applies to a downgraded horse. There are no limitations, other than those imposed by the number of points allocated, on a horse which has been assessed.
