Yellow duster trick - Has anyone done it?

I've done it, works perfect! I did mine on the hottest cotton wash, but I did do 5 shirts with 5 dusters and they came out fine. Asda school shirts and smart price dusters are the future!

As Lilyhead. I did it on a normal wash first and nothing happened so did it on hot and worked a treat . Stitching didn't take but as you can see only a tiny bit of the shirt you don't notice.

I do it to get cream show shirts.

3 dusters and 1 shirt on a 60 degree wash with salt in the final rinse (think thats to fix the colour)

Always worked well for mine but might fade after a few washes and you have to do it again.

I did it with a pair of breeches that had faded from 'Corn' to 'vanilla'......

It worked, but they went a bit of a stnger yellow than I had hoped for :D

I planned to do this, but came across a cream shirt on eBay - so depending on the colour i might not need to now :)

Ive done it a few times and have found the cheaper the shirt and dusters you buy the more yellow you get.

Eg a primark shirt went bright and a M&s one went a more subtle cream.

I've done it. 1 white (cheap) shirt to about 4 dusters. I also did it to a pair of derby house beige jodhs to make a canary pair for a first ridden class. That took 5 dusters on a hot wash, but worked really well.

Just wanted to share my results! :D

Really pleased, did this today with a white tesco kids shirt and 3 tesco value dusters on a hot wash.

So, thanks for the tip guys!
