Yellow horse syndrome

Oh, I love a yellow horse! My first pony was a beautiful bright buckskin welshy who looked just like a mini Arab. She always had admirers despite her sense of mischief. I shared a grown-up version for a while: a mostly-Arab palomino mare. Beautiful.

My head won't let me buy based on colour, and I can't have my own horse right now anyway, but I secretly yearn for herds of yellow horses glinting in the sun :)

I have a buckskin and a palomino, the palomino is a thick as two short planks but very beautiful, the buckskin is the polar opposite, smart as a pin and flashy to boot, their colour has nothing to do with their temperament and everything to do with their breed, one is AQHA, one is a very high brio PF.

As for attention getters, I also have an incredibly plain looking chestnut mare, looks like your bog standard 13h pony - until she is under saddle - then everyone looks at her first :)
