I'm in north of scotland..which might be the reason why. Already had three and a bit weeks of it!

It's starting to melt a bit here too, as is the ground underneath. It was a positively tropical 2.5C (as in positive!) here today, having been -7C during the day for most of last week

Errrmmm - forecast for Tuesday for much of the west of the country is heavy snow! But there again, forecast for this weekend was howling wind straight from Siberia, heavy snow, drifting and daytime temps - including wind chill factor - of -14C. And what did we get here in S Wales? Mild, calm weather with no snow and overnight temperatures staying above freezing for the first time in 2 weeks. What exactly do they do all day in the Met Office? Should we have a whip round so they can replace the bit of seaweed hanging outside their back door?
