Well didn't it just rain and rain then blow and blow, well, I had booked to do a SE ride at Woodhouse eaves and around Beacon Park with a friend, well balls to the weather I had been looking forward to it so went, on the way there I kept thinking I must be mad, anyway while driving I passed an old folks home and could see through the windows two old folks hunched around a table eating there breakfast, I thought bollocks to that, if I live long enough, got me focused straight away for the rest of the day, do it while you can, yes we got soaked yes we got blown about, but hey, what a brilliant ride and do it while your able, the Deer were stunning and we had fun, a credit to the Sports Endurance people who organised and Marshalled in the pouring wind and rain, bless them

Planning on doing one on the 14th, near a reservoir in Derbyshire - are you doing this one too? Think it is run by SE.
