.......I didn't - lol! I lunged him in the school and he was very good so I got on and he behaved perfectly. I am hoping that yesterday was just a blip although I did nearly come off when I tried him out at the weekend but that was different because he spooked and then stumbled which nearly unseated me. I now have a 50% sucess rate of uneventful rides on him lol. Here is a pic for those interested. His name is Edward.

Thanks everyone for nice comments. OH will be getting on Edward for the second time tomorrow so fingers crossed that he likes him as much as I do.

My other poor boy, Oliver, is still lame and vet is coming back tomorrow so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get a diagnosis soon soon and it's nothing too serious. He seems quite chirpy in himself and I think that there is less fluid in his leg today.

What a lovely looking horse, but I hope Oliver recovers quickly for you, blinking legs!!! mines always losing a shoe, getting kicked.......... etc etc..

arrr he is lovely so pleased you areknow doing so well i have been back to docs today and shud be able to be back on board next week soi think a couple of lunging sessions first then ill get on board in the school before attemoting a hack again gd luck xxxx
