So as I posted below about Star and Buff feeling very sorry for themselves yesterday after being spayed, Well Buff is at mums and I think she's still quite steady, but Star has gone back to crazy hyper Star already!!

She's constantly playing with Alf and I let her off the lead briefly in the park early and she started running round like a mad woman!! So she was back on the lead quickly!!

Should i be really careful with her and try and keep her as steady as possible or will she be ok to play/run if she feels up to it??

hmm...did the vet give you any guidlines...

let me think...
erm, tink was done the week before we moved here...and only really let her tear about at normal pace

once we came here....
so she was curtailed for about a week...but she kept pulling at hers as well...so they went a little odd :/

No, and I forgot to ask!

I guess we'll just have to see how she heals. If I have to keep her on the lead for long she will be a nightmare!!!!

She's been licking a bit but not too much and they look quite neat at the moment - in fact they've done such a good job you can't even really see them!!

after spaying we were given this:
5 days TOTAL rest, i.e toilet breaks on the lead and that was it, then 5 days lead exercise, then the stitches came out and life was good.
I think that's standard to be honest, and wouldn't want to risk ripping stitches.
