Right I have finally found a bit that my mare doesn't lean on, but its a 3 ring (Instead of a 4 ring) gag, just on the snaffle hole, I don't need the lower rings but I do need the poll pressure as being a typical thoroughbred she needs a bit of encouragement, especially in a canter to get her head down and round up. Now I need this bit as its a loose ring so she doesn't lean on it plus the poll pressure helps me immensely.
Now my questions are:
1) Would it be "dressage legal" just for some pre novice tests to ride her in this bit on the snaffle hole.
2) Is there a bit out there that has just the snaffle hole and the poll pressure thingy, like a loose ring hanging cheek?
Any help appriciated

She just leans on it because it is fixed..

I have had her in an eggbutt for some time and she just leant on it and overbends, not good for a dressage test.
Would I be able to have a loosering hanging cheek custom made, would that be dressage legal?

Any gags are not dressage legal. I am not sure if a hanging cheek can be in the form of a loose ring, but its worth investigating at any of the bit bank sites.

Thinking about it the only LR hanging cheek I have seen was a mullen mouth one.

Try neule schule, Abbey, Shop4bits and bluepony.

I am not 100% but think the mullen LR hanging cheek would be dressage legal.
