It's totally nonsensical isn’t it? Just pure abuse, and to do it in front of people and just think that it's ok? God knows what he would do behind blocked doors. Absolutely horrific. Apparently there were allegations about him made months ago with his treatment of both horses and staff.

I wondered if it was two different places and times…it looks like the same horse? I couldn’t see date or time on videos either….how could anyone with any respect, love for animals let him continue….

Its unbearable, what is wrong with people? I only managed to watch the first few seconds, but that was too much. What happens to people that that appalling abuse and cruelty is ok? Its disgusting, prison is the least that should happen to monsters like that, certainly a lifetime ban of ever going near another animal again is the necessary place to start.
 
I think many people - or perhaps even much of society as a whole - have lost the ability to feel and connect properly with other living beings.

They are taught that it is weak and foolish to be open and soft. That power, control and human success is better.

And the more closed off they become, the harder it is to find the way back.

I didnt watch it so dont actually know, but its definitely two separate incidents. Its sickening. I'd just cooked food and its gone in the bin
 
No attempt to understand the horse's point of view. Just a nasty bully, trying to prove a point - not that anyone knows what the point is. I'm not a fluffy bunny, but one, that whipping was beyond excessive and two, what the eff was the horse supposed to actually learn from that shtshow? Absolutely pointless, sheer brutality. That completely unempathetic, spineless, bullying, abusive excuse of a human should put the whip down and back away from any horse that comes within ten miles of him.
 
They are so so delusional. So his belief his only options were to beat into submission aka abuse the horse to do what they want him to do, or to the 'knackery'.

So many professional have seem to completely forgotten the fact that these are sentient beings who were not only put on this planet to do the job the owners/riders want them to do. And if they don't it's either this type of 'riding' to break the horse or PTS. REALLY?!

It's an absolute honour to be around a horse let alone sit on one. How has this been forgotten?

I cannot believe that he is justifying it. Horse sport should end.
 
He seems to have hidden the comments and limited who’s allowed to voice their opinion. Nothing like silencing anyone who questions your bizarre narrative that it was a “life and death” situation so you had to beat an animal repeatedly. And anyway, it was fine bc he had his own paddock when he wasn’t being whipped (?????)

If I have to say this one more time I'm going to have to go and scream into the void forever. There are way worse fates than death. This is a prime example of that.
