5 year old regiestered Section A gelding, partially broken in. Works on the lunge well, loose jumps over 3 foot, cracking paces and looks stunning. His owner just doesn't have time for him. He temperament is ok - when he's in work it's fine but when he's bored he's a little bugger

I own his mum and she's a sweetheart so it's likey he just needs to mature. He couldn't go to a novice home but somewhere he'll get a lot of work - we often joke he needs to go to a pony racing home

One person suggested selling to a showing home for about £1000 because of his breeding while another has said he'll have to be given away for free

so we're a bit lost as to a price!!
We're all attached to him so C will negotiate price for a good home but she doesn't want to sell him so cheap he goes to a dealer...

If he's a good as he sounds you will not struggle to get between £1500 - £2000 i wouldnt have thought. Its a shame he's only partially broken or he could be worth more, but he sounds like he's a promissing little pony and will go far in the right hands.

If you take a look at the ponies 12-14hh in HH they go for megga money.

Thanks - he's been so easy to work with but she's decided rather than wasting him she's going to sell him but doesn't want to ruin him by rushing him.

As he stands - about £300 - but get him going properly and he could be worth a lot more BUT he is only a Section A so a limited market AND because that market will be small children, he will need to be 110% trustworthy etc

3/400 quid ish. The market for that type of pony will be very small children, so the fact that he is only partially broken and doesn't exactly have the temperament of an angel is going to severely limit your market.

He'd be worth more like 800 if he was properly broken and had done a bit more.
