Well the biopsy was inconclusive like the blood tests and the lumps seem to have got bigger. But the most worrying thing so for is lucy started going off her feed on friday and by sunday she was off it all together. This is very unlike lucy (this is the pony who eat while it had collic). So i went into full panic mode i called the vets this morning, but was told no vets where in. by this time i was beside myself and rang my employer who was at work. She phoned the vets and asked what the hell was going on and why we didn't we have answers? The vet then phoned me and i explained how lucy was worse and she had had some more blood come out her eyes over the weekend. She said she would have another look. But i asked what good would that do as they didn't know what was wrong and this has been going on for weeks. She said she was sorry they did not know what it was but it was all pointing towards cancer but they couldn't be shore. So i asked for a refurel to liphook equine hospital. So thats where lucy is tonight. They are running more tests and giving her a full body scan so hopefully they will find out whats going on. The vet at liphook has said it could be cancer but also gave a few better options of what it could be. My vet kept telling me a refurel will be expensive (lucy is un insured but at 20 they would not pay out anyway). But i don't care how much it costs i want to know what is wrong with lucy and give her the best chance of getting better. She is my whole world and right now it's falling appart.
