I'm on a role, I must've been saving these up.

How on earth do you wash numnahs without getting your washing machine full of hair?!

I'm pretty sure I can't wash them with any clothes or anything else cos they'll all get covered in hair, so should I put a wash on with just 2 numnahs in the machine?! And will I need some non-biological washing powder?

Oh, one more, how do you wash one of those rubber girths that has hair all stuck in the stitching?

I'm pretty sure that's the last numpty question, for tonight at least

I don't bother. Just ensure the OH smalls go in afterwards - he still hasn't worked out why they are always itchy and he keeps finding horse hair in them !!

As for girths and hair - try a roll of sellotape, or those sticky rollers.

I use a huge wash bag that I bought from rideaway.co.uk, its much larger than a pillow case, I just wash the numnahs etc. hang them on line then turn bag inside out and dry on line too, all the hair blows away. Genius!

Wash as normal and then tumble dry the girths I wash in the sink and use a scrubbing brush then rinse well get sqeeze out as much water as you can then put over radiator over night when the heating has started to cool down
