So after Dubh and Jek going to the big kennel in the sky, Dubh's son Pye has now made his final trip to the Vet's 
Pye shattered his left shoulder in 2005 whilst out on a walk (after working an entire season with no issues). The Vet had never seen a break like it due to the positioning, but pinned it succesfully and by the next season he was back out working and moving around with ease. However during that season his other shoulder went in exactly the same place. Due to the success of the last op he was once again pinned. Unfortunately it didn't heal as well, but he was still able to move around well enough and was allowed out on the occasional drive to keep him happy.
However he had gotten much worse recently and developed arthritis in his back legs, so my Mum decided it wasn't fair to keep him going.

So after starting the year with 6 dogs, they only have two left Although the new addition certainly keeps everyone smiling!
