....my gorgeous chestnut colt (yet to be named) born @ 6.45 this morning, sire is Treliver Decanter. He arrived today just because I was due back at work after having the previous two weeks off work to await his arrival!!

aaaaaahhhhh my friend has got a decanter baby, a palamino filly she's 2 now.

He looks like a beaut, whats his mom like - temperament and ridden?

He looks absolutely gorgeous! But have to agree with the below... this is the second post I have seen today with the mention of rugs on foals.... interested to hear the response..

Congratulations, well done, looks lovely.
Have to be nosey, but why the rug, is he poorly (I do hope not and certainly doesn't look it)?

Absolutely beautiful, you must be thrilled! Mam is a great looking horse too! Congratulations, glad they are both doing well!

I think Pat more than likely that as I know where Yorketown keeps her horses, it will be a tad exposed there for him today in this wet hurricane we have had this morning over here.

Thanks A, don't blame her at all then if that's the case, it's been blowing a real gale here too and everything's huddled up under the hedge - and they're yearlings or older!

Very cute, looks a lovely foal, bet yore chuffed to bits, reliever is one of the few warmbloods I really like! I don't know what happened to the weather but it was awful up in Cumbria this morning, am in London at the mo and it's sooo hot!!

As previously mentioned weather this morning was horrendous so it was just to keep him warm until the worse of the weather had passed!! Only rug I had and way too big but it did the trick! A pic of him now, without the rug!

Very pleased with him - and so is his mum!!
