I've never been before (work schedule, horses and finances never allowed) but I'm wanting to go this year.

Is there any benefit to getting VIP tickets?

And does anyone know of fair priced B&B near by?

(I won't be able to do those all inclusive coach parties as I'll be travelling up from Devon on the 08th after the week long course I'll have been on).

There is a travel lodge and premier inn in leamington spa, they are about ten mins drive from stoneleigh. And an episode hotel in leamington spa if you wanted to go a bit nicer. They do excellent brekkies.

No idea about VIP, we've been before on normal tickets. i would say that you need to queue early for demos in main arena and once you've got seats its worth staying for a few as you may not get back in :)

Personally I don't think the VIP tickets are worth it. We saw Carl and Charlotte last year and only queued for about 10 mins, we walked straight into the Mary King Demo and Ben Maher's demos were only about half full. There were empty seats at all of the demos so anyone arriving after they let everyone in got a seat. I think that the money is better spent on things for my horse! :D As far as accommodation goes have a look on Trip advisor or Bookings.com, B & B's come up on those.
