Some of you might know i have been having some probs with my horse and his back - had the physio out yesterday and it was simple saddle pain caused by the saddle bridging (which he said would probs be fixable with a reflock!), he worked on him and i could see an immedaite improvement.

Also, he has given me a reason why he headshakes - he is so sensitive that the numnah may be brushing the bottom of his mane, and making him flick his head (obviously the badly fitting saddle could have been contributing to this as well).

The physio recommended a saddle fitter for me to try, and although i cant ride for two weeks as fitter has waiting list, i am pleased i know the cause. So until them, i am going to attempt to lunge him, and try a bit of loose schooling if he is sensible.

Also we have dryish turnout again, so my retired horsey can spend his last week in the field, he is on bute as well so is enjoying himself.
