York Auction on Friday,anyone going?

Is there a website with pictures then? Is it an irish sale this time? They seem to have themes at York.

I got mine there for £290...... wish i knew who bid agaist me they looked nice and i wanted to tell them he got a nice home! Soft aren't i? lol

Yeah there's a few nice types going, better than last month i think, at least for me anyway looking for something in 15.2+ bracket. wonder if they'll sell though - market is just appalling and lots not sold last time
 
FDC - i mean they end up unsold cause the vendor wants too much for them (or more than people are willing to pay!) lol, I tend to want to buy the charity case ones too, good job I dont own any land - I'd fill it! lol

sounds like me... i always end up bringing home the straggly little shetland or welsh or what ever for stupidly cheap money and then get them sorted and they end up being amazing little neds.
im sure i will be out of pocket on friday night. im taking 5 horse, horse box with the intention of getting 2 but if i have the room ... lol
so if anyone gets stranded because they have bought something and didnt intend to pm me ... my phone will send me notification if you are yorkshire/lincolnshire way on will be able to help transport wise xx (maybe lol )
 
I have looked at the catalogue and really want to go. As others have said there sounds to be a nice mix in this month.

I'm working and i think the other half would possibly have heart failure if i came home with another horse.... may go to one of the Summer ones though!

Well if you like them and they arent sold go to the vendor and have a chat. We bought a mare that was very nappy out of the ring as she didnt sell. Got a very good price on her and reschooled, hunted her and she was fantastic. She was sold without warranty.
 
Yep Im going, mainly as mare from my friends yard is going through (I suspect without reserve as they really need to get rid) so Im going to check a "certain man" doesnt make the winning bid, if it looks that way then I may be taking up Yorkshire Dumpling's very kind offer of transport! Also they have just emailed me photo photo of a coloured ISH and he's lush x

Lol YD "maybe only room for 1" blimey your as bad as me. Iv just realised I dont have an internet phone so if I do need your assistance I will have to put a shout out for "Yorkshire Dumpling" over the loud speak haha x
 
I should be going but sadly now have to work!

Must admit i usually go just to meet with friends, have a natter and a good lunch and just sometimes ''accidently'' bid on a horse or 2......:D:D
