york sales friday, amazing arab going through!!! i want it :))

i cant make it, i have to work but half tempted to not go to work as this arab will be going cheap and this horse i remember was up for sale a while back for a pretty penny!!!
 
I think he is still up for sale somewhere, for £2,500, there is a thread about him on the Arabian Lines forum. He's a fabulous horse, anyone seriously interested might be able to contact his owner via Arabian Lines.
According to AL, he was only sold a year ago, poor boy.
 
Tinypony- I saw that on Arabian lines that's what he was up for but at the sales he would be lucky to make a £1000, that's a hell of a horse for that even at 2500 he was too cheap!. Most of the lots going through look very nice :D
 
He may be entered for the sale - doesn't mean he will be let go for next to nothing though! Lots going home from sale unsold....

We have got some going - they are all genuine!!:D:D
 
On AL it says he has a decent reserve, so he may end up returning home. This is a lovely horse with a serious show career behind him, hopefully someone will buy him before he gets to the sales, but if not, I hope he finds the right home. But then, I hope that for all the horses being sent to sales, no way to even attempt to make sure they go to a good new home once they're in the ring.
Ihotse, he isn't particularly cheap in my opinion. The owner may need to sell quickly, but you can often get Arabs at a good price because they are not such a popular breed. He's a gelding as well. I brought my Arab gelding for a similar price, he is the son of a top American stallion and was qualified for Aachen.
From the thread on AL, it looks as if anyone seriously interested would be able to contact his owner.
 
Oohh I'm going on Friday, unfortunately I've been given a warning that if I return home with anything on four legs I'll be in trouble :-( only supposed to be going to pick up a new saddle for pony and some rugs.
