....apologies if this has been discussed recently, I did a search but nothing came up so thought i'd throw caution to the wind!

I've never been to anything like this before, I know there's a simnilar event held every year at the sheffield arena and im guessing this is a kind of re-branding of that same event (forgive my ignorance if not:eek:)

The timetables are for a full day so was just wondering how this/these kind of events usually work? Can anyone help/advise?

This is the website by the way: http://www.yorkshireinternational.co.uk/

Not been to this particular show before as it is its first year but went to the british open and HOYS etc, you normally pick the events you want to see in the main arena and then shop around them! Thats what we do anyway.

Allow 10min or so to get to your seats as your often not allowed in or out while a horse is jumping its round and then if your at the top you haeve lots of stairs to climb! You have allocated seats and have to stick to them also a good idea to take your own snacks as food is usually a rip off.

We are going and hope it should be good :D

I'm going! :D Never been to a showjumping event before so really looking forward to it. I think it is the same event as in the past but that Sheffield hasn't had it for a few years and the Welcome To Yorkshire project managed to win it back for 2011.

PS I don't know why there is a thumbs down on my post! It should be a thumbs up if anything!! :)

Thanks for the replies :)

Ah the british open thats the one thats usually here I remember now!

Think I may well go along one of the days - £22 a ticket is a bargain really I reckon
