Yorkshire Saddlery Repairs...anyone used?

As above.....I'm needing a saddle re-flocking/adjusting and this is fairly local to me....webbie looks good but just wondered if anyone had any first hand experience before I contact her?

PM me if you like...although if its good I'm sure she won't mind it on open forum.

Not sure exactly where in Yorkshire you are referring but I have just used Jo Ackroyd (SP ?) - South Yorks I think she was and she was very good. Was referred through someone on here and then a newbie to the yard had her out so I thought why not. Excellent service and my my 19 TB is very difficult to fit with a high wither and muscle wastage. She spent a lot of time with us sorting it and am pleased to say he now has a saddle that is a perfect fit

Yep, I've used sarah, she seemed very professional yet friendly. She adjusted and replenished flocking in 3 saddles and checked the fit of another one whilst on site. IIRC I rode in all saddles before she adjusted etc; which would have been a lot more expensive for a saddler to come out and 're-fit'. Nice girl and no hard sell for another saddle.

Flocking has gone poomph at the front and saddle is slipping forwards in canter......resulting in mega-bucks. Didn't notice actually until the bucking (re) started and I had a good old prod about.

How lucky am I that I have a horse who kindly informs me whan it needs doing
