Yorkshire Terrier

Hi

Am looking for a Yorkshire Terrier - would prefer a Toy and preferably a bitch - puppy and under 6 months old...

I have looked for a Yorkshire Terrier rescue place down her in south East Kent but not found anything so, could everyone keep their eyes and ears open if they hear of anything... Would rather rescue one than buy one from a breeder...

They have just changed their forum page and it seems a little muddled up, but worth a look

P.s I'd be very jealous, I'd love one, but hubby would go mad at a 4th dog

Well I used to have a toy bitch about 5 years ago....she lived to a good age of 15 and was such a toughie... she was called Twiggy and was a reject from the local kennels in that she had a hernia but when she was spayed the hernia was repaired....

I still miss her to this day...

I've got a rescued Yorkie. He was one of the 200 from the puppy farm that was in the news 3 years ago. He's the light of my life - I would recommend Yorkies without any hesitation! I would never have thought of getting a Yorkie, or a boy dog, but it just happened and it was fate. Definitely go for it, and if you can find a rescue, so much the better!
