YO's Son part 2

Well the weekend came and I decided to go (turns out my bf of 6yrs has been cheating hence the major long weekends at the football, another story) meet the YO's son for a one man, one woman party! It was great and it has given me the confidence to change my life and boot the bf out and make a new start as a single mother!

I feel so much better than I have in years! I am looking forward to the future, it will be difficult with a small child and the animals to look after but I really couldn't care! Life cant be as boring and pointless as it has up until now!

No more sitting in the house with nothing to say to each other or me on the laptop and him on the couch with the tv on for back ground noise. I know for many ppl this will seem weird or selfish on my behalf but the thing is my now ex bf agrees!! He just never had the bottle to end it!! :rolleyes:

I don't expect someone else to raise my kid I can manage all by my self :D
 
That's great - good for you! Sometimes you just need to be brave enough to take that leap and do something for yourself! As u say it will be hard to start with but more cos its different but I bet it will be more than worth it! Good luck! :)

It was more just the two of us having a laugh (date if you wish) usually I would need drink for encouragement but heyho that wasn't a problem! :p

Sorry but I am very pleased with myself :D

For the first time in god knows how long I have made my own decisions!

ATP: Thank you I genuinely (sp) believe this has worked very much to my advantage! I feel like a new woman and I have a MAJOR spring in my step!

My ex has even noticed (for the first time ever haha) and is paying more attention! We may well end up together again, we may not but wot ever happens my raunchy one night stand has done.... I feel absolutely FANTASTIC!! :D

Given that you posted in the original thread that he's off to Canada for 6 months and that YO's were away it's not going to be that difficult for them to figure it out! You've given out a fair bit of detail

I can't understand why people want to name themselves something they think is anonymous when they put so much detail up. I'm just wondering when someone's going to put a up a post "Whose YO's have a got a son going off to Canada?".

Another thought - why make up a name when a generic "WannabeJeremyKyleGuestXX" would be the most obvious choice?
 
I'm glad you have decided to change your life, but like the others, it's not going to take much I think for people to figure out who you are! Ah well, suck it up and get on with living, I made a massive change years ago and never regretted it, look forwards and not back, and you can always move yards if you need to.....! :D
 
Have you ever thought that people DO change the details before they post the story on here???

Also I have about three friends whose sons have been to Canada for a year or so working, two others have been to New Zealand. It seems to be the thing for farmer type lads to do...

Whoop whoop! Even if YO son doesn't turn out to be the one - at least its created a stepping stone for you to get and made you realise that there is more out there for you!
 
If this is real: poor kid. Not one but (up to now) two cheating so-and-sos bringing it up. It is perfectly possible to end/change any relationship without cheating, revenge-cheating or anything else so sordid. Shameful.
