Decided to explore a new route this afternoon as I’ve been getting a bit bored of the same old walks.

Following a track in the woods and it dips down a bank across an ankle deep stream and back up the other side. Or so I thought.

Turns out the ankle deep stream is actually knee deep, but looks shallow due to the amount of silt in it!

Roxie was sensible and didn’t follow me into the water 😂 I got absolutely filthy. Props to my boots though as my feet did stay dry!

I also got a bit too adventurous and carried on the walk, getting a bit lost.

I ended up getting too far from the car and had to call my husband to come and drop us back to the car!

Basically, my exploring was a bit of a fail! 🙈

He’s got a courtesy car today as his is in the garage 😂 I’m sure it’s the only reason I was allowed in!

They’re Ariats and have survived pretty well despite being a few years old so I’m happy!
